In the spirit of the 19th century Romantics, my trips marry a passion for photography, art, culture and a love of real food – and all things Italian. I’ve taught a variety of workshops and have been photographing the architecture, landscape, people and art of Italy for more than three decades.

Over the years as a professional photographer my work has been featured in many books and magazines,  including The New York Times and The Paris Review, and various gallery exhibits. I have had the privilege of photographing internationally renowned dance companies Momix and Pilobolus and have work hanging in private collections in the US and Europe.

I take great pride in sharing my love of Italian culture with friends and my EDPI fellow explorers. Our tour routes travel off the beaten path into some less widely known parts of Italy. EDPI strives to find the perfect balance between hidden gems and must see history. To be in Italy is to experience la dolce vita. Join me on our next unique tour.
